Collection: Impressionism ICM - Abstract
What is Intentional Camera Movement?
Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) is a type of photography method/practice where the photographer works with aperture and ISO settings, possibly on-camera filters, and a slower shutter speed to capture movement within the image they are creating.
How do I incorporate ICM into my work?
Movement is a strong theme in much of my current work and I love creating images that show its beauty and grace. All of the movement you see in my work is created in-camera during the shooting process. I capture movement by using a tripod and creating a long exposure image, or by moving the camera itself during the exposure and, using a slow shutter speed, create movement for my camera to capture.
